テキスタイルアーティスト・デザイナー。
英国ロンドン芸術大学 Chelsea College of Arts にて
テキスタイルデザインを学ぶ。
絵画や写真からインスピレーションを受けた色彩や柄を基本に、織りや染めで表現するテキスタイル作品を制作する。
帰国後、ライフスタイルブランド ENNESTEにて染色に関わりながら、自身のブランド annita artworks を手がける。
Anna Hashimoto is a textile artist and designer specialised in weave. Her design philosophy is focused on creating highly crafted hand-woven art piece with an intricate and detailed techniques. She is passionate about developing a unique pattern and texture with rich colours and high-quality materials, aiming to make an art piece unlike anything anyone has seen before.
Born in Kochi, Japan, Anna grew up in a family trading in textiles for Kimono. She obtained a first class honours BA in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Arts.
